Traumography! The Dark Secrets of Sex and Sexual Abuse.

How many of us are or have known a person who suffers from childhood sexual abuse. People suffering from this lingering pain may have trouble with being sexually satisfied by their partners. In any event, sex may be that one thing that a victim could live without thus sabatoging their relationships with their partners. Also, porn addiction is the highest amongst sexual abuse victims and are twice as likely to engage in sexual distasteful acts and activities. In a like manner, their sexuality is questionable and so are their preferences. In the end, the victims end up displaying a sort of offish stigma and create an impossible sexual fantasy in order to cover the traumatic experience consequently  damaging  their perception and satisfaction of a healthy sexual relationship.

Often we make the mistake of believing that we can identify the faces of those who have an illness or an unforgettable experience. We sometimes think they are the prostitutes on the corners, or the children who come out the system, or the young, poor, black single mothers. when in fact, they are our teachers and our cashiers. They appear in our classrooms sitting next to us as normal and unique as they can possibly be. They are our greatest poets and writers. They are our athletes, scholars, and artist. They hide behind their talents and their wisdom when in actuality they are scared little girls and boys. These victims are prisoners to their own thoughts and die a slow spiritual death from heightened stress from worry and constant anxiety. One a typical day, they can either be sane or insane and their triggers have no warnings. it is impossible to maintain a relationship without it being poison and draining in some form or fashion. their relationships are chosen either out of fear or out of manipulation.
